On October 19, 2024, at the Oncological Institute of the Republic of Moldova, a landmark event for the ATI community in the country took place: the CESIMUS course - Ultrasound in the Critical Patient. Organized in partnership with the Society of Anesthesiology and Reanimation from the Republic of Moldova (SARRM), the Romanian Society for Anesthesia and Intensive Care (SRATI), the Emergency Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases "C.C. Iliescu" from Romania and IMSP the Oncological Institute from the Republic of Moldova. Under the coordination of Professor Șerban Bubenek and with the support of a team of six renowned instructors from Romania, the CESIMUS course brought to the fore an essential tool in critical care medicine - ultrasonography. This area of non-invasive, high-precision technology that, in the hands of well-trained professionals, can save lives through rapid diagnosis and well-grounded clinical decisions.
The team of instructors, masterfully coordinated by Professor Şerban Bubenek, deserves all our gratitude for the dedication and professionalism they have shown. We thank them for their efforts to share knowledge and experiences with our doctors, thus giving them the necessary tools to care for critical patients in Moldova.
The CESIMUS course, developed by CESIMAB and implemented in the Republic of Moldova by SARRM-SRATI, has an extraordinary impact on the intensive care medical community in the country. Through this program, doctors from the Republic of Moldova benefit from advanced training in the use of ultrasonography for critical patients.
In addition to its indisputable practical value, the CESIMUS course also offers a special academic exchange opportunity for Moldovan doctors. Being aligned with European medical training standards, this course opens new horizons for collaboration and knowledge exchange between specialists from Romania and Moldova.
